Texas native Jerry Audley has cracked the top 5 on the Texas Music Chart, coming in at #5, passing up The Bart Crow Band and Shooter Jennings for the week of March 31 with "Lucky Me, Lonely You," one of those catchy songs that spread like a virus. The song was co-written by Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn, Terry McBride from McBride and The Ride, co-writer of "If You See Him/If You See Her," and "Play Something Country," and Shawn Camp, co-writer of hits such as: "Would You Go With Me," "Firecracker," and "Two Piña Coladas." Audley entered the chart as a newcomer, and just four weeks out of the box, he is now accomplishing his dreams. Listeners are saying “it’s just one of those songs that rub off on you, a classic in the making!” “Lucky Me, Lonely You" is featured on his debut release, "Audley Enough."
"Audley’s voice is clear, right on and melodic, and the musicians are well mixed into each tune, complimenting the voice rather than overpowering it.
I bet there is more than one chart-buster on the “Audley Enough” CD.”
